Become part of our Glass Fusing family

Glaze aims to inspire people to be creative and explore the art of glass fusing and jewellery making from home. The possibilities are endless and the personal rewards amazing.

The hero product we sell is the microwave kiln, an amazing yet simple device that allows you to melt glass safely in your microwave oven at home in just 3 min. Take a look at one of our videos to see how simple it is.

The exciting part about the glass fusing process is that each piece of glass jewellery that you create is unique. This is not a mass production cookie cutter process but a very rewarding creative process. There are no limitations with endless combinations of glass and dichroic glass options as well as new techniques. Some work and some don't and sometimes what you think will not actually works.

Glaze offers an online store and a new retail store. Our online store is stocked with a large variety of glass sheets from your essential black, white and clear to coloured glass sheets in opal, transparents and the mesmerizing dichroic glass that gets everyone's attention. Other products in store are microwave kiln options, fusing supplies, jewellery making supplies and findings.

For the those that want to get started we have put together fusing kits, these kits have the basic essentials needed to get started including your first microwave kiln, safety equipment and some glass to get started.

A new introduction to our site will be our step by step video and photo tutorials called “MAKE YOUR OWN - How did we do that?”.These tutorials will help you to understand and get to know the various products and techniques making it easier for you to experiment. The aim is to teach and inspire you as you learn this dynamic and rewarding process

Part of Glaze success is our classes that we hold at our studio. These classes are ideal for beginners just starting out. We also have advanced classes where we demonstrate new techniques and process. We have a large variety of clients that attend classes some make glass jewellery for a living others do it as a hobby others are seasoned artist looking for a new creative outlet.

The reason our clients keep coming back is our ability to continually inspire them with our weekly and monthly newsletter and tutorial sessions. Each week we release a new fusing tutorial showing how we created a piece of glass jewellery from start to finish. We will then allow you to purchase that projects glass materials online at a discounted rate, so that you can try and recreate what you have learnt in the project tutorial.
